Through it’s global sponsorship and the CARE INSPIRES CARE® platform, Johnson & Johnson brought its caring heritage and healthcare expertise to the tournament and host country, to care for and support the health and well-being of fans, families, players and volunteers.
With the help of renowned children’s author Patricia Lakin, kids shared their real life stories of care. We then brought these stories to life by turning them into a children’s book. Each story is based on actual events and offers a beautiful insight into care, as seen through the eyes of children.
As part of its FIFA World Cup sponsorship, Johnson & Johnson was proud to introduce the Champions of Care program, a global initiative celebrating those who selflessly care for others. Under this program, Johnson & Johnson recognized and celebrated twelve 2014 FIFA World Cup volunteers, five fans from the Brazil and US, five healthcare institutions in Brazil and 34 Johnson & Johnson employees from around the world who demonstrated exceptional commitment to caring for others.
