In the Asia-Pacific region, an estimated 4.7 million people are living with HIV, including approximately 149,000 children under the age of 15. Women and girls are especially vulnerable to infection and often endure discrimination and violence within their families and communities. Together with our partners, we support 21 programs in 10 countries, giving women and children opportunities to live safer and healthier lives.
