HEALTHY CHILDREN Jia Yuan in Pujiang is one of thousands of children who are able develop healthier habits through proper health education and schooling.

Jia Yuan Wan, a student at Wenxin Migrant Children school in Pujiang, is one of thousands of migrant children in Shanghai who receive health education in school through Health Education for Children of Migrant Workers, in partnership with Johnson & Johnson.
Most schools for the children of migrant workers are located near communities where migrant workers are concentrated. These communities are often crowded and unsanitary, leading to health conditions that put people at risk for disease. Health Education for Children of Migrant Workers is improving the health of migrant children by helping them develop healthier habits and by providing comprehensive health training to schoolteachers. The program also helps to facilitate dialogue about health education between teachers and parents so that migrant workers can learn how to keep their children healthy.
