Lynn Pendergrass is the Worldwide Chairman, Consumer segment, at Johnson & Johnson, a role she assumed in September 2013. She is a member of the Johnson & Johnson Management Committee and reports to Sandra E. Peterson, Group Worldwide Chairman.
Lynn has accountability for the Johnson & Johnson portfolio of iconic global brands including JOHNSON’S® Baby, LISTERINE ®, TYLENOL ®, NEUTROGENA ®, and BAND-AID® Brand Adhesive Bandages. With accountability for an organization of 23,000 people doing business all over the world, she brings over 20 years of experience in leading and creating sustainable growth and profitability in consumer products, in innovating to build superior consumer experiences, and in partnering with customers.
Lynn joined Johnson & Johnson from Hewlett-Packard (HP), where she delivered innovative go-to-market solutions and significant market share growth in her role as Senior Vice President and General Manager overseeing the printing and personal systems businesses for the Americas.
Before joining HP, Lynn successfully led consumer businesses at GE, including appliances and lighting, with a particular focus on global brand management, insight-led innovation and building exceptional customer partnerships.
Lynn is known for driving business transformation and propelling her teams to leadership through varying economic cycles. Under her leadership, businesses have delivered outstanding market share growth, product and commercial innovation and supply chain optimization.
A graduate of the University of Louisville in Kentucky, Lynn holds both Bachelor of Science and Masters of Engineering degrees in Chemical Engineering.
