In 2012, a global study revealed that people from around the world believed that the world was becoming a less caring place. Using our global sponsorship of the 2014 FIFA World Cup™ in Brazil, we set out to change this belief. Building on our 125 year legacy of helping you care for the ones you love, Johnson & Johnson launched the CARE INSPIRES CARE® platform to inspire a more caring world. CARE INSPIRES CARE® is based on the belief that everyone has the power to do extraordinary things in caring for the health and well-being of others, especially when led by the heart.
Leading up to and throughout the 2014 FIFA World Cup™ Brazil, millions proved that the power of care could change the world.
Through acts big and small, care brought people together, helped us overcome our differences, and created a sense of connection and love. Let’s continue to spread care because together, we can create a healthier and more caring world. Join us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/careinspirescareUS. And, learn more about our CARE INSPIRES CARE® program by browsing the website.
Every act of Care we perform – big and small- can inspire another and help make the world a more caring place. With this in mind, CARE INSPIRES CARE® created the “Caremeter” to celebrate daily acts of care on the CARE INSPIRES CARE® Facebook page and website. For example, every time somebody Likes or Shares a post, or in inspired by watching a caring video on the website, this is counted on the Caremeter.
During the 2014 FIFA World Cup™ Brazil, we counted acts of care in the real world, like blood donations at our Tour do Carihno event in Brazil and we reached over 25 million acts of care! So do something caring today - share an inspiring post, help someone in need - and let's show that care has the power to change the world.
