Love is a powerful emotion. It can bring people together, create families and nurture communities.
Johnson & Johnson recognizes the power that love has in building compassionate communities, and we’ve created the Donate a Photo app to spread the love to causes you care about by taking an everyday action and turning it into a way to do good.
It’s as easy as snapping a picture. When you share your photo through our Donate a Photo app, Johnson & Johnson donates $1 to a cause you want to help. Johnson & Johnson has curated a list of trusted causes, and you can donate a photo to one cause, once a day. Each cause will appear in the app until it reaches its goal, or the donation period ends. If the goal isn’t reached, the cause will still get a minimum donation.
Need a little inspiration? In honor of American Heart Month and in celebration of Valentine’s Day, we are supporting the American Heart Association of Northwest Arkansas by helping them distribute CPR Anytime kits, giving families the training and tools they need to save someone’s life with CPR. You can be part of this effort by using Donate a Photo. Here’s the challenge: We want to see how you and your family are staying heart healthy – are you exercising together, making healthy eating choices, giving up an unhealthy habit or simply finding ways to relax together? Show us in pictures!
Our goal is to see 1,000 photos showcasing families’ heart health moments donated during the month of February – that represents $1,000 or 40 CPR kits for the American Heart Association. Each user can donate up to one photo per day.
Here’s how to get started in four easy steps:
- Visit the iTunes store (for Apple devices) or the Google Play Store (for Android devices) and download the Donate A Photo app.
- Create a profile and choose your cause – The American Heart Association.
- Take or upload your photo using the app.
- Tag your photo #JNJHeart and share via Facebook, Instagram or Twitter to raise awareness and get your friends and family involved!
One photo. A moment captured in time can provide lifesaving education and keep someone’s heart beating. Will you help us share some love this month?
