Healthy Future 2015 Sustainability Goals Progress

Healthy Future 2015 is both an extension of and departure from our past goals. It builds on our previous environmental goal setting and performance, while also incorporating social- and transparency-related priorities that our stakeholders expect of us. These range from environmental sustainability and enhanced supply chain stewardship, to greater transparency and commitments to address diseases in the developing world – areas in which we believe we can make a meaningful contribution to society. These are not new priorities for us, yet it’s the first time we have established social goals and targets as part of our overall strategy.

1 Performance is lower than clean energy capacity reported in 2014 report (55.7 MW) based on recalculations due to divestitures.

2 Performance against this goal was originally tracked by supplier category. In 2015, we modified to a more comprehensive regional approach. For more details, please see the Procurement and Supplier Management section of this report.

3 In 2014, we erroneously reported progress against this goal at 100 percent, but discovered after publication of the report that actual progress was just under 50 percent due to adjustments of classifications of employees.
