In 2019, Hugo Breda was appointed to Managing Director, Medical Devices for UK and Ireland where he has driven the organisation towards addressing the triple aim of improving patient outcomes and experience while reducing the total cost of care.
Prior to that, Hugo served as Vice President Strategic Capabilities, Medical Devices EMEA, where he led the development of the value-added services portfolio, CareAdvantage, and was crucial to the early stages of developing the Services & Solutions organisation for EMEA.
Hugo started his career in Janssen Belgium 20 years ago as a sales rep. Advancing his career quickly with increasing responsibilities, Hugo went on to lead the Oncology, CNS, Immunology and General Medicine businesses in Austria, Switzerland and France where he had a strong track record of developing patient centric programs that create broader access to innovation and better outcomes for patients in Haematology, Schizophrenia, Alzheimer and Psoriasis.
Hugo holds a Master of Science in Physical Education and Kinesiology with a specialisation in coaching and training sciences from the university of Leuven.
