Today, May 5th, Janssen Research & Development proudly joins the Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) to recognize World Asthma Day, an annual event to raise awareness, improve care and generate support for the more than 300 million people worldwide who are living with this potentially life-threatening disease.
At Janssen, we are building a deep scientific understanding of asthma to change the way we study, treat and one day intercept the disease. Our team of internal pulmonary experts and external collaborators are working together every day toward a better, healthier tomorrow.
We want to know asthma personally—how it affects people in different ways, how tailored therapies can be developed for individuals and how the work we’re doing will impact the global community. You can learn more about our vision for the future from the video below.
Together, we can raise awareness of this life-altering disease and show our commitment to creating a world free from asthma. Join the conversation on Twitter and LinkedIn by sharing your thoughts on what a world free from asthma means to you using #aworldfreefrom.
