Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. achieved a terrific milestone – convening almost 400 midwives to secure the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the World's Largest Infant Massage Lesson. During the lesson, Dr. Tiffany Field, a J&J collaborator within our KOL network, presented her research on the importance of baby massage, which provided midwives with important information to take home to their practices. The midwives enthusiastically participated in the massage lesson and even conducted a celebratory conga line when the record was announced.
It is the ongoing mission of Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. particularly the JOHNSON'S® Brand, to provide midwives with the education and resources they need, and this particular effort helped to raise awareness about the value of touch to babies and families around the world. The event was held at the 31st International Confederation of Midwives Congress in Toronto, Canada, where J&J Consumer, Inc.'s participation supported our message of being #scientificallydriven and emphasized J&J's particular expertise in the importance of baby sleep and touch.
