On Wednesday, March 16th First Lady Michelle Obama will join a panel at South by Southwest to discuss the Let Girls Learn Initiative, which encourages girls around the world to attend and finish school. The First Lady will be joined by special guests Queen Latifah, Missy Elliot, Diane Warren and actress-activist Sophia Bush to discuss finding one’s passion and acting on it.
Johnson & Johnson is proud to partner with the First Lady on this initiative and to continue our legacy of promoting the health and wellbeing of girls and women around the world. We believe in investing in educating girls and creating stronger, healthier communities worldwide.
Live streaming of the panel discussion will be available at 11:00 a.m. CST at Makers.com. Participants and viewers of the live streaming will be directed to #62MillionGirls where they can sign a pledge and take actions through change.org.
You can support the effort to educate girls around the world through the Johnson & Johnson Donate a Photo app. Every photo you share to the Girl Up cause will help provide bikes to girls in Guatemala, enabling them to get to school safely.
