Logistics specialist EFZ

Our apprentices report on their apprenticeship...

“After I put on my work clothes, I prepare for the day. I need different tools (e.g. a forklift) depending on the workplace. My activities include picking, checking or storing and retrieving goods. In every warehouse, there are new challenges and associated activities, such as keeping warehouse statistics or transporting goods from A to B. During my training, I gain a comprehensive insight into various business areas and thus acquire a broad range of specialist knowledge. The ability to work both in a team and independently is important. You need to be calm and patient, as well as have a good spatial sense. But above all, concentration and the accuracy that comes with it. In logistics, you learn to work precisely, to deal with stress, and to think across processes. I want to develop my accuracy and professional competence even further. I feel very comfortable in my job, and it’s nice to be a part of Johnson & Johnson.”

Building resilient future talent: J&J in Switzerland’s health & well-being journey for apprentices

As conversations about youth mental health gain attention across Switzerland, Johnson & Johnson is working to ensure that apprentices feel supported, not only in developing their skills, but in maintaining their overall well-being. That’s why J&J in Switzerland established a health & well-being program for apprentices in 2024, developed in close collaboration between the Employee Health & Well-being and the Apprenticeship Program teams.

A Decade of Partnership and a Season of Giving: Johnson & Johnson and the Swiss Red Cross

For more than ten years, Johnson & Johnson in Switzerland has proudly partnered with the Swiss Red Cross (SRK) to make a real difference in the lives of caregivers and vulnerable communities.

Through our collaboration, we help provide caregivers with relief hours, giving them the chance to take a well-deserved break while a trained professional steps in to cover their responsibilities. In doing so, we not only offer caregivers much-needed relief hours but also create a vibrant peer-to-peer network where they can connect, share experiences, learn, and grow together.
