A tremendous amount of scientific innovation is taking place across Africa, with many researchers and entrepreneurs developing new solutions to make a positive impact in their own communities, and around the world. Johnson & Johnson Innovation wants to shine a spotlight on those researchers and entrepreneurs and the impact of their work on society.
Through the “Champions of Science® Storytelling Challenge—Africa Science Week Edition,” we aim to showcase the contributions of the talented and passionate researchers and entrepreneurs from Africa, to build public engagement and support for science, and inspire the next generation to pursue scientific fields that will have the potential to drive Africa’s socioeconomic transformation.
The Africa Science Week Edition of the Challenge is open specifically to attendees of the 2018 and 2019 Africa Science Week conferences. You must attend at least one Africa Science Week event to be eligible.
The deadline for submissions is 11:59 p.m. EAT on January 30, 2020.
