Health Partner: The digital tool that can help you navigate your knee, hip or weight-loss journey

Grappling with joint or weight issues? Enter The Health Partner for Knees, Health Partner for Hips and Health Partner for Weight Loss Surgery suite of websites and apps—unveiled this week at the Consumer Electronics Show.

Joint pain from injuries or medical conditions like arthritis is a daily reality for many Americans: Each year, an estimated 660,000 people undergo knee-replacement surgery, and more than 300,000 have hip-replacement surgery. And Americans with a body mass index of 40 or higher (or 35 or higher if they have a condition like diabetes) who have unsuccessfully tried diet and exercise to keep their weight down have bariatric surgery as a treatment option for achieving sustainable weight loss.

But regardless of the ailment or illness people may face, there is one thing many of us share in common: navigating the healthcare journey can be a challenging, confusing and overwhelming experience.

That’s why Johnson & Johnson has created Health Partner, a new digital solution focused on helping patients through that journey.

It’s made up of three applications—Health Partner for Knees , Health Partner for Hips and Health Partner for Weight Loss Surgery —and it’s debuting this week at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

“Many health issues prevent people from living the life they want,” says Len Greer, President, Johnson & Johnson Health and Wellness Solutions. “Our main goal is to assist people through their healthcare journey—and ultimately get them back to an active life, and back to optimal health.”

Here’s how.
