Johnson & Johnson statement on the flash flooding in Texas

On July 4, a severe thunderstorm struck the state of Texas, triggering widespread flooding as several rivers overflowed their banks. The disaster caused catastrophic damage, with more than 130 lives lost.

As a corporate member of the American Red Cross* Disaster Responder program, the Johnson & Johnson Foundation is supporting relief efforts of the American Red Cross, which is mobilizing assistance on the ground, aiding those impacted by the devastating floods.

J&J Foundation is also supporting Americares response to the floods, through a $75,000 donation and as an Americares Emergency Response Partner, providing ongoing support that allows the organization to quickly deploy emergency response teams to meet the physical and mental health needs of frontline health workers and survivors.

Furthermore, J&J Foundation is supporting the distribution of hygiene kits via Heart to Heart International.
