Ling is the Executive Producer and host of This Is Life on CNN. She has also been a field correspondent for The Oprah Winfrey Show and a contributor to ABC News’ Nightline.
Henrietta H. Fore
Before becoming Executive Director at UNICEF, Fore held numerous prestigious roles, including Director of the United States Mint in the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where her work earned her the Alexander Hamilton Award—the Department’s highest honor. She also was the first woman to serve as the Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Director of U.S. Foreign Assistance.
Peter Hotez, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Hotez is the founding dean of the National School of Tropical Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, as well as director of the Texas Children’s Hospital Center for Vaccine Development, in addition to other prestigious academic posts he holds. He has authored hundreds of peer-reviewed articles and editorials as well as books, including “Vaccines Did Not Cause Rachel’s Autism: My Journey as a Vaccine Scientist, Pediatrician, and Autism Dad.”
Vikram Patel, MBBS, Ph.D.
Dr. Patel is The Pershing Square Professor of Global Health at the Harvard Medical School. His work has focused on the burden of mental health problems, their association with social disadvantage and the use of community resources for their prevention and treatment in low-resource settings.
Hanneke Schuitemaker, Ph.D.
Schuitemaker is the Global Head of Viral Vaccine Discovery and Translational Medicine and the Disease Area Stronghold Leader for Viral Vaccines at Janssen Vaccines and Prevention. In addition to overseeing Janssen’s portfolio of viral vaccine programs, Schuitemaker is also a professor of virology at the Amsterdam University Medical Center.
