Supporting Frontline Healthcare Workers and Our Communities

We Never Stop Supporting Health Workers

Championing Nurses on the Frontlines of COVID-19

Expanding the support we provide to our communities and the healthcare workers on the frontlines of responding to this crisis.

Frontline health workers are integral to the global response to COVID-19. In hospitals, clinics and homes around the world, health workers are taking on significant personal risk and too often working without adequate equipment to ensure all of us can receive the care we need. The current crisis is demonstrating the essential, tireless, innovative and too-often undervalued role of health workers in ensuring strong, resilient health systems for everyone, everywhere.

We are delivering critical support for communities and health workers on the frontlines. In March, the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies and the Johnson & Johnson Foundation committed $50 million dollars to support frontline health workers—from meals to protective equipment, extra training to mental health. This commitment expands upon a $250 million multi-year commitment we made earlier this year to support those at the frontlines guided by the Johnson & Johnson Center for Health Worker Innovation.

Our COVID-19 Response

Whether cash grants, employee actions or J&J product donations, we will listen as we always do to frontline health workers themselves, our cross-sector partners and our colleagues across the world who best know the needs and realities of their communities. Below we share only a subset of our donations and will continually update this list in case others may like to join us.

Johnson & Johnson in Action

At Johnson & Johnson, we always have and always will #BacktheFrontline. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we launched 30 Days of Action to channel our collective gratitude for frontline health workers into concrete ways you can act to support these fearless frontline heroes now and after the crisis peaks.
