Several companies in the J&J Impact Ventures portfolio are pioneering new AI technology and tools intentionally developed to improve care for patients in communities with limited resources.
Penda Health has implemented AI Consult software in primary care clinics in Kenya, in collaboration with OpenAI, and recently published one of the first real-world studies showing the ability to improve the quality of clinical decision-making and reduce potential errors. Qure.ai, a company within our fund HealthQuad, has already helped millions of patients in over 100 countries around the world with AI assessment of diagnostic imaging for lung cancer, tuberculosis and other diseases. And Turn.io has developed an AI-powered chat platform to empower a range of healthcare organizations, along with an accelerator program supported by J&J Foundation to improve health access.
