    Our responsibility to the planet

    As part of the world’s largest healthcare company, we recognise our responsibility – which stretches beyond industry regulations – to sustain natural resources and care for the planet. To do this, we push to continuously reduce our environmental impact and are committed to renewable and clean energy.

    We’re continually focusing on innovative solutions and sustainable ways of minimising our impact on the environment.

    We anticipate that using geothermal energy will reduce our CO2 emissions in Beerse by about 30%. This equals the emissions generated by about 3,000 households.
