Environmental Health

Mexico City alt

s a company, we believe that the health of people is inextricably linked to the health of the planet. At Johnson & Johnson, we have been setting public environmental performance goals for decades. In addition, to unlock change at the rate and scale needed to make better health a reality for more people, in more places, we need to drive actions and impact beyond our own operations. That is why we are committed to leveraging our resources and work with our partners to help cities implement climate actions that improve air quality and public health.

Johnson & Johnson Partners with the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group

* When this goal was established, a qualifier was placed on the original target of 100 million citizens living across 30 cities. As noted at the time, those potential figures were to be revised once cities and actions were confirmed with C40 Cities. In 2018, these details were confirmed and the number of potential citizens benefiting was revised to 60 million over the five-year goal.

Johnson & Johnson has signed up to the 2030 UN Sustainable Development Goals—the world’s road map for progress.
